Overview

Sightseeing on the water!

Stay dry while getting a closeup view of the famous Reversing Falls during this awesome boat ride!

This tour includes:
• Round trip transportation from the cruise ship pier or your hotel
• Scenic boat ride to see the Reversing Falls
• Possibility of seeing wildlife
• Lots of interesting information and great photo opportunities!

On this unique sightseeing tour, you'll witness the amazing natural phenomenon of the Reversing Falls! The highest tides in the world (courtesy of the Bay of Fundy) and the origination point of the St. John River are the two mighty forces at work here. When the two meet in a rocky gorge, the high tides overpower the river, causing it to reverse its flow twice a day.

Fallsview Park, as its name implies, is the prime lookout point for observing the churning waters below. From your seat on a comfortable boat, you'll feel only subtle rolls as you watch this incredible spectacle.

During the tour, you'll also hear about the Indian man-god "Glooscap," the guardian of the Falls; and see remnants of the salmon fishing industry, historic sites, Partridge Island, and Fort La Tour. If you're lucky, you might even spot some seals!

Please be aware that Carnival ships do not adjust to local time when in port. The actual time will be +1 from ship time. For example: ship clocks say 9 a.m., but it is actually 10 a.m. local time. ShoreTrips always operates on local time.
