Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This is a great hotel and is in a really good location close to everything. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice. Our room was spacious with a nice, big shower. My only complaint (and it's minor) is the light from the AC is quite bright. I like total darkness when I sleep so I ended up using the ironing board to block it. Maybe it can be dimmed but I couldn't find it. Other than that, can't fault it.

Review:   A beautiful hotel, such a comfortable bed and amazing pillows. Lovely rooms and very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything I could think of for breakfast and things I wouldn't have thought of. Late checkout at 1 on Sunday was wonderful too. Would definitely return!

Review:   A very grand and very beautiful hotel with top notch staff. Some of the rooms could use a renovation but otherwise has been kept immaculately clean. Has kept all of its historic charm, inside and out! Worth a look around and not just a stay.

Review:   This place has been fully jazzed up at the top. It doesn't make the building look great from the outside but from the inside it offers the most amazing views. Definitely on the pricey side but some of the cocktails and dishes are absolutely divine! I especially loved the prawns. Book in early and secure a table with a view to really make the most of this place!
