Sussex Murals Tour And Saint John City SightsExplore > Canada > New Brunswick > Sussex Murals Tour And Saint John City SightsOverviewThis tour is a unique blend of new and old, combining some of the latest attractions in New Brunswic This tour is a great blend of both quirky and classical sightseeing. Sussex is a unique town with towering murals and Saint John is filled with many historical sites to see! This tour includes: - Round trip transportation - A visit to the larger-than-life murals in Sussex - Exploration of both natural and historical sights in the city of Saint John This tour is a unique blend of new and old, combining some of the latest attractions in New Brunswick with some of the most historic ones. First, you will take the 45-minute scenic drive to Sussex, a picture-perfect rural community nestled in the beautiful countryside of New Brunswick. Known as the "Mural Capital of Atlantic Canada," Sussex has 26 murals meticulously adorned onto various buildings. These murals tell stories associated with Sussex's rich history. Your visit to Sussex will be contrasted with a drive back to New Brunswick's oldest incorporated city, Saint John. With nearly 400 years of history, Saint John offers plenty of sights to explore! Experience the world-famous Reversing Falls, where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River to flow in reverse, twice every day. Discover the delicious sights and smells to be found in the Old City Market, built in 1876, where you can chat with the friendly locals. See Martello Tower from the War of 1812 and the beauty of the Bay of Fundy from Fort Howe, which overlooks this charming old port city. Learn the history of the United Empire Loyalists, who founded the city in 1783, and the story of General Benedict Arnold from American Revolutionary War fame. With so much charm, warmth, and sights to see, its no wonder that this city is known as “the greatest little city in the east.” - Please be aware that Carnival ships do not adjust to local time when in port. The actual time will be +1 from ship time. For example: ship clocks say 9 a.m., but it is actually 10 a.m. local time. ShoreTrips always operates on local time. - This is a ride and walk tour. You will be walking during the sightseeing portions. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
