Overview
Set out on a wonderful day of walking, sightseeing, & fresh air. This is a private tour.
This is a wonderful tour for anyone that is looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Quebec. Your tour guide is an energetic Quebec native that's proud of his city and his job. Not only will your guide tell you all about the local history and culture, but he'll point out the local hangouts, controversies, and secrets that the guidebooks don't.
Our adventure begins with a nicely paced walking tour in Quebec's lower town neighborhood, also known as Basse Ville. We'll pass by Place Royale, the city's most impressive square, and walk along Petit-Champlain (the pedestrian-only street) and see the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church. Your knowledgeable guide will point out all things of interest and you'll be able to ask as many questions as you like!
We'll continue to the famous funicular (inclined railway) and ride into Upper Town. Here, we'll visit La Place d'Armes (Army Square), where it's not uncommon to see street performers and musicians. You'll also see La Terrasse Dufferin and Place l'Hotel de Ville with the impressive City Hall right in front of it.
