Overview

See majestic whales aboard your own private boat!

Famous and friendly, that's how we would describe this whale watching company. They have won multiple awards for their tour. This company is locally owned and operated and their motto says it all: "You arrive in Juneau as a tourist, you board our boat as a guest, and you leave Juneau as a friend." The captain of your boat is an internationally-renowned whale watch expert with over 30 years on the water. He was educated in wildlife management and marine biology and is involved in marine education and research of Southeast Alaska. He has trained his staff, so they will be able to address all of your questions. The captain himself makes occasional appearances so, if you're lucky, you might recognize his famous beard, as well as see the whales!

This tour includes:
- Private whale watching charter
- Amazing photo and wildlife viewing opportunities!

Alaska is famous for whale watching and we provide an incomparable way for you to enjoy it.

Your tour begins with a 30-minute bus ride to the marina, with your driver providing information about Juneau along the way.

Upon arrival in Auke Bay, you'll board one of our comfortable, mammal friendly, handicap accessible jet boats and leave the crowds behind. These boats, which are custom designed specifically for wildlife tours, have heated cabins, restrooms, and great views from every seat. If the weather allows, you may also use the rear open deck and the upper level observation areas.

During your short cruise, you will most likely encounter two endangered species--humpback whales and Steller sea lions. A host of other critters, such as orcas (killer whales), harbor seals, Dall's porpoise, and a variety of sea and shore birds, will entertain you as they do what comes naturally. Sit back and enjoy watching the show.
