The Tigre Delta with its rivers, streams and numerous green islands is one of the most attractive areas in the region.
The Delta islands are formed by the continuous sediment of the Paraná River, which gives the river and estuary their particular brownish-red color.
On the way to the Tigre Delta you will pass through the most residential quarters in the suburbs of the Capital Federal. Visit San Isidro, one of the few remaining sites where old style and romanticism is still alive. Stroll around in a nice little park or visit the impressive cathedral.
A favorite pastime is a leisurely ride on a comfortable boat along the water passage ways! Enjoy your ride as you take in the surroundings and the scenery. On Saturdays a visit to its colorful market, with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and wicker-wares is also a must.
