Madrid Walking Tour And Prado MuseumExplore > Spain > Madrid > Madrid Walking Tour And Prado MuseumOverviewThe highlights of Madrid will bring you back to the times of medieval days. Madrid is the hub of Spain. Like many of the European cities, it is happy and lively with singing in the streets, couples holding hands, friends chatting over a glass of pastis and a plate of tapas. But the old city and the buildings from the past continue to remind the inhabitants of its righteous history. The Prado is one of the world's greatest museums, and it is full of masterpieces by Deigo Velazquez, Francisco Goya, El Greco, and Hieronymous Bosch. To walk this extensive building alone does not do justice to this work. Beyond the Prado Museum, your guide will introduce you to the many statues that grace the squares of the old city of Madrid, as well as its secrets. The building once used by Franco as police headquarters where a detainee once jumped to their death trying to escape, the tradition of eating twelve grapes, the spot where the war against Napoleon began - all these secrets and more will be part of our guided tour of the old city of Madrid. - We suggest you wear comfortable clothing and appropriate walking shoes. - The cost of admissions is not included in this tour cost. We highly suggest pre-purchasing Prado Museum tickets through the museum's website. The website links will be provided on your voucher. The entrance fee is 15,50€ per person. - The price of food or beverages is not included. - Please contact ShoreTrips if you have 8 or more people in your party.
