OverviewRide through the gorgeous valleys and hills of Montserrat. Travel just a short distance--in any direction--from Barcelona, and you’ll find yourself in prime horseback riding country, perfect for a day excursion out of Barcelona. Drive about 30-40 minutes north of Barcelona to this wonderful ranch located in the mountains between the coast and the Pyrenees. After arriving at the ranch, we'll spend the first 15-20 minutes getting suited up (riding helmets, etc.), getting acquainted with the horses, and learning the commands that they're accustomed to hearing. Once everyone is ready, we're off to walk, trot, canter, and run through the gorgeous valleys and rugged hills of the region. The horse you will ride is an amazing animal, both spirited and rider-friendly, assuring you a positive, memorable experience! The length and difficulty of the horse riding is based on individual preference and experience, however, no experience is necessary. The ride usually lasts 2 hours. After the ride, we'll go to a great little Catalan restaurant next to the ranch for a big lunch of traditional cuisine (complete with wine/beer, water, coffee, and dessert) before heading back to Barcelona. - Tour duration includes transfer time. The horseback ride is approximately 2 hours. - There is a minimum of 2 passengers and a maximum of 8 for this tour. - THIS TOUR IS NOT ADVISABLE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN OR THOSE WITH NECK OR BACK PROBLEMS.
