Glide through the historic streets of Barcelona on a Segway HT.
If you consider biking a relaxing and efficient way to explore a new city, this trip will blow you away with its new, revolutionary method of sightseeing. Featuring the new Segway HT, this effortless tour allows you to glide along the charming streets of Barcelona without breaking a sweat.
The Segway HT, a two-wheeled machine that is similar to a motorized scooter, doesn't require any special balancing skills. In fact, it is remarkably easy to use. You simply navigate by leaning slightly forward or backward. It is so carefree that, once you get over the initial excitement of using one of these neat machines, you'll discover that it allows you maximum visibility and interaction with the world around you. If you're nervous, however, rest assured that your guide will patiently instruct you on its use.
On this three-hour excursion, your knowledgeable tour guide will take you right into Old Town, one of the most unique and recognized areas of the city. You'll explore the Gothic Quarter, the true heart of Barcelona, which comprises some of the most distinctive architecture in the city. We'll then go to the Roman part of the city, where you'll learn about the history of the city. From there, we'll go to see the statue of Columbus and the old harbor. We'll also visit Barceloneta to get an up-close view of the sea and glide all the way down to the Olympic Harbour. From there we will go through the Olympic Village to the Park of the Citadel, where the 1888 World Expo was held, and be amazed by the Monumental Fountain of the park, in which Antony Gaudà was involved.
