Your tour operator is no stranger to horses and animals. In fact, she spent 10 years in Wyoming, where she managed a cattle ranch and learned to ride and care for horses. She has been living and working in Corfu for the past 18 years, fulfilling her dream of working with animals.
Set out on this lovely horseback riding excursion in Corfu.
We'll pick you up at the cruise ship pier or your hotel for a short 20-minute transfer to our stables. Along the way, enjoy the gorgeous scenery and views of the Grecian countryside.
The stables are situated outside the beautiful village of Ano Korakiana, in the north central area of the island.
We'll match you up with the best horse according to your riding ability and preferences. Then, we're off for a 2-hour ride through the foothills of the Pantokrator mountain range, with miles of farm tracks.
This area is a haven for horseback trekking. Thousands of olive trees and natural woodland provide ample shade, even in the mid-day sun.
- Please wear long pants, a comfortable shirt, and closed-toed shoes for the ride. Our guide recommends that you wear shorts or cooler clothing for the ride to the stable and then change into long pants for the ride. We also recommend that you wear sunscreen.
- A collection of helmets will be available (as well as boots and chaps if necessary).
- Complimentary refreshments are offered at the stables after the ride (cold soft drinks, beer, tea, or coffee). Water is available during the ride.
- This tour is not available on Sundays.
- The maximum number of passengers that can be accommodated is 8.
- The minimum age for this tour is 6 and the maximum age is 60.
- There is no official weight limit for passengers. However, we will ask you your weight in the check out process. Seriously overweight or obese clients are not able to participate in this excursion.
