OverviewExplore the unique archaeological site of Delos. Depart from Mykonos and travel to the ancient harbor of Delos island. Welcome to Delos, a large archaeological site revered in ancient times as the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and now home to unique archaeological monuments. Its many ancient remains include the temple of Apollo and the Terrace of the Lions. Join your licensed guide for an approximately two hour tour of the site, including the Lions Walk, the Naxos marble lions, and the ruins of three temples consecrated to Apollo. Of special interest are the houses and workshops, some of which have amazing mosaics still visible, such as the House of the Dolphins. The story of this island and its development is incredible and it is hard to determine what is reality and what is myth. This trip requires a minimum of 2 people. The site of Delos will be explored on foot. Please wear low heeled comfortable shoes, and bring water and a hat. The price of this tour includes a private guide for the whole duration of the tour.
