If you like wine, and you want to discover a bit of real-life Venice, you can't go wrong with this tour. Your guide, a free-lance historian and tour guide, is also a trained and knowledgeable wine professional.
Your tasting includes three glasses of Veneto and Friuli Venezia-Giulia Doc quality wine. You will sample the wines in a typical "Osteria" (wine bar), chosen especially by your guide for the quality of the wines, the food products, and the genuine atmosphere. This tour is designed for those who are interested in an overview of Veneto and Friuli Venezia-Giulia Doc quality wines, and are eager to develop a personal taste on wine with the help of an expert.
Enjoy your three glasses while your guide tells you about the land, history, and grapes, focusing especially on those original to the region. Sample a selection of fresh cheeses with vegetables or a dish of mixed Venetian appetizers along with your wine.

- To get to San Marco Square, you can either take the vaporetto (public water bus) for about 4€ one way, or hire a private water taxi (like a speedboat limo) for between 30€ and 50€. Allow about 30 minutes to get from the cruise ship pier to San Marco Square.
