Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   A very warm welcome from the staff. The vallet parking also available. Front office have a great environment. And the best of all is the room attendant. He leaves a card for us in room, but come to serve us after 20 minutes of our arrival with compliment of water and chocolates . Appreciate it.

Review:   You'll eat Auckland's best hotel meals here. For sure. This hotel is truly proud of the food it offers guests and the visiting public. It's old fashioned in the best way. The staff relish provide a welcoming experience for everyone who drops in for a meal. Recommended food for all locals! This place is a treasure.

Review:   The New Zealander of the Year awards were held here in February. It was quite a nice venue and quite large. Decent capacity and the decorations were tasteful. Waiting staff was attentive and friendly and the food was quite nice. Really nice venue but it was pricey. It wasn't too hard to get here (walked since I work around Grafton) but there are buses that go stop outside on Symonds Street. Otherwise K Road is also close by.
