Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Great Staff, Management sucks. Hotel needs upgrading in rooms. Needs a better chef and F/B Manager.

Review:   Excent place to stay over. Beautiful well kept rooms close to Savusavu town and very friendly welcoming staff. Best resort in the North of Fiji.

Review:   Lovely hotel where you can enjoy the sea view when the sun reaches the opposite horizon.

Review:   Nice view. A typical room is decently big enough for Asian size. As the hotel is under renovation, the main lobby is temporarily inaccessibile.

Review:   Terrible experience with the front desk of this Hotel. My partner and I had no reservation when we arrived and asked about availability for 1 night. The woman told us there were plenty of rooms, either with fan only or with aircon. She gave us the price for each of those rooms as I filled out the reservation form. When I went to confirm the price while getting out my credit card, she stated two different prices, both higher than the previous quotes she gave us just 2 minutes earlier. I thought it may have just been me misunderstanding so I asked my partner who is a Fijian citizen and he confirmed I did NOT misunderstand; she intentionally gave me higher prices the second time i enquired. Even the original quote was more expensive than the other accommodation options down the street but I was happy to pay a bit more as it seemed clean and safe, but not after this experience. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone based on this single interaction. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Shame on this employee, and shame on management if they're aware of this practice and do nothing.
