Private Food Lovers Tour Of FlorenceExplore > Italy > Florence > Private Food Lovers Tour Of FlorenceOverviewLearn about grappa, chocolate, salumi, and truffles and how to eat them! Your guide, who has a personalized catering company in Tuscany, is very familiar with the markets. She'll instruct you where to buy Italian products to enjoy during your stay or to ship home to prolong your vacation after you return from your travels. Have you been to Florence before, or have you seen too many churches, or are you just passionate about food and wine? If so, then this is the tour for you. There are many opportunities for tastings in Florence, but none equal the amazing aromas and flavors of this experience. You'll eat and drink your way through Florence, covering a vast number of things, including the right way(s) to order coffee, wine sipping, balsamic vinegar dabbing, traipsing through local markets, fun Italian housewares, and some special surprises. Many of the properties that we'll visit are the last of their kind in the city and their uniqueness will remain with you forever! We'll make six stops during this fabulous culinary journey: Coffee lesson, wine lesson, grappa lesson, mid-afternoon snack of the nobles, chocolate lesson, Florentine housewares, the Central market, extra virgin olive oil, traditional balsamic vinegar, cheese, salumi (yes, that is spelled correctly, it is the generic term that describes salami, prosciutto, etc.), and lampredotto, the Florentine hot dog. The tour does not include lunch, but we doubt you'll still be hungry by the end! - All food and drinks are included in the price of this tour. - Groups are kept small (2 to 6 people) to maintain intimacy, maximum personal contact, and attention. - Please alert ShoreTrips in advance of any dietary restrictions or food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate. Days offered: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Departures:
