Explore the faboulous Old Town of Istanbul! This is our best people watching tour!
Your tour begins with a stop at the Topkapi Palace Museum. Walk through the courtyards of the Palace, view the chimneys of the royal kitchens, the Harem Tower, the Ceremonial Halls, and the Throne Room, and see the costumes of the Sultans, the Treasury of the Ottoman Empire, the Library, and the Pavilions.
We'll break for lunch and then explore the Grand Bazaar filled with thousands of authentic products and handicrafts. Shop for jewelry, incense, rugs, brass, and more! This colorful market also serves as the perfect backdrop for photos.
Next, we're off to Taksim, a major shopping, tourist, and leisure district famed for its restaurants, shops, and hotels, and considered the heart of modern Istanbul. Walk the famous Istiklal Avenue (pedestrian street) and see how modern shops and restaurants are integrated into 19th century Turkish buildings. The people watching here is wonderful!
