Discover the panoramic beauty of hidden valleys and secluded beaches as we traverse the ancient Mahaulepu wilderness area on horseback. Riding along Kauai's magnificent south shore, experienced guides will share Hawaiian legends and local lore as we encounter a variety of scenery and terrain. We'll see everything from pasture ranch land and farm crops to coastal and mountain vistas. We'll also cross over a sand bar and stream, travel past beaches and bays, see native foliage and birds, pass under the tall shady ironwood trees, and appreciate the cool trade wind breezes.
This will definitely be an adventure to remember!
- Dress for a ride: jeans, boots (or shoes with a heel), and your favorite hat.
- Bring sunblock and a snack.
- You must take a taxi or rent a car. From the cruise ship pier, it will be about a 30-minute taxi ride that will cost about $40-$50 each way.
- The maximum weight for this tour is 250 pounds depending on your height. You will be asked to supply this information at time of check-out.
