Molokai Air n' Ground is the ideal checkpoint to orient the passenger to see beyond the ship's horizon and explore the surrounding environment in the third dimension. Leaving Honolulu, the sightseeing aircraft will follow familair Hawaii shorelines upon departure and then cross whale- populated channels to circumnavigate the Island of Molokai, the least populated of the Hawaiian islands. Featuring the world's highest sea cliffs, Hawaii's tallest waterfalls, and endless natural fish ponds, this untouched land provides some of the most breathtaking views in the world.
On land, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Molokai Coffee Plantation, which occupies 500 acres in the country highlands of the island. The original planting of the orchards was accomplished by Brazilian farmers who came to Molokai with a select stock of rare Ariba beans. Complimentary samples of coffee are available as you learn about the history of this island's contribution to the industry.
At the macademia nut farm, you'll have a unique experience provided by the owner of the company. As an expert of all things nuts, Tuddle Purdy will enlighten your mind and taste buds as you sample their organic products to the words of his nonstop historical narrative. You'll never look at Hawaiian agriculture the same way!
In Kaunakakai, the only village on the island of Molokai, lies a reef-protected harbor. There is only one main street that gives off the vibe of a western movie with a variety of shops and boutiques open for exploration. A stroll down the longest wharf in the state reveals a working boat harbor where many local residents fish for their dinner--a true picture of Hawaiian culture. No traffic lights. No parking meters. No bus or taxi traffic. Just serenity and peace as it existed a century ago.
