Overview

Playa Maderas is known for white sand, turquoise water, and surf!

Join us for a lovely day at the beach! Depending on the conditions, we will either visit Playa Maderas or Hermosa Beach. Playa Maderas is known for gorgeous white sand, turquoise waters, and, of course, surfing! Hermose is one of the most beautiful beaches on the southern coast.

Upon your arrival at the beach, we'll provide a cooler with refreshments, which are complimentary, except for alcoholic beverages, which can be purchased (see "special instructions").

If you choose, take a nice stroll from Playa Maderas to Playa Majagual, or just enjoy the gorgeous coastline. You can also purchase snacks/lunch on-site.

After our beach break, we'll travel to a hilltop overlooking the crescent bay of San Juan del Sur to view the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer. Here, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the valley and surrounding mountains. This is the most picturesque point in southern Nicaragua!

- We will provide an ice cooler with bottled water.
- Beer (Nicaraguan beer), Gatorade, and additional water are available for purchase (about $1 each). You may also purchase lunch/snacks at the beach (prices vary).
- Please bring sunscreen, a hat, and a towel.
- Please note: The beach we visit is public. You will be accompanied the whole time.
- You may rent snorkel gear on-site (approx. $20/set), depending on the water conditions. The fee is payable in cash or credit card on the day of the tour.

-There is a minimum of 4 people for this tour.
- The minimum age for this tour is 6 and the maximum recommended age is 65.
- This tour cannot accommodate wheelchairs.
- You must present your voucher at pickup. No exceptions.
