Overview

This flight will showcase the highlights of the entire island of Jamaica.

Let's face it: Caribbean islands are all marvelously beautiful, but after visiting one after another, they begin to blend together in one's mind. This tour offers an opportunity to see Ocho Rios in a way you haven't experienced the other islands - from the air.

Upon arrival at the helipad, you will be greeted in style and offered your choice of either a flute of champagne, a Red Stripe Beer or a bottle of water. Then it's up in the air, where you'll fly over Dunn's River Falls, the world famous attraction that is a "must see" in this area, before winging your way south over the little town of Linstead, immortalized by Singer Harry Belafonte in his popular recording of "Linstead Market". Further south, you'll see the spectacular Bog Walk Gorge, before moving on to Jamaica's old capital, Spanish Town, with its magnificent square and the oldest Cathedral in the New World. History buffs will be further interested in Port Royal, former haunt of pirates and buccaneers like the notorious Captain Henry Morgan. Next we swing north for an unforgettable view of Jamaica's capital Kingston, across the majestic Blue Mountain range and over to Port Maria, before returning along the coast to Ocho Rios.

You are also given a coupon book for stores at Island Village that is worth $100 US.

There are no child prices but a small baby may be carried on a parent's lap for no charge.

You might or might not have to take a taxi to the helipad, depending at which pier your ship docks. If a taxi is required, it's a very short (2 minute) and very inexpensive ride ($5.00 per taxi for up to 4 people).

This helicopter will hold 4 people.

If you are in a wheelchair but can be lifted into the helicopter, you can enjoy this tour.

Transfers depend on the pier you arrive at if coming by ship. You can walk from both, but you may choose to take a $5.00 taxi ride from the Main Wharf. Further instructions on your voucher.

The helicopter is not air conditioned but the windows may be open during the flight and give good air flow.

Maximum load is 800 lbs. per flight.
