Dominica High Ropes Canopy AdventureExplore > Dominica > Roseau > Dominica High Ropes Canopy AdventureOverviewThe unique canopy tour combines zip lines with foot bridges and a Tarzan jump for the adventurous. If there is such a thing as an “ordinary” canopy tour, you can be confident that this Canopy Challenge in Dominica’s new Adventure Park is classified as “extraordinary.” You'll have a blast at this awesome challenge course set in the rain forest at the newest eco-park in Dominica. Upon arrival at the reception center, you'll be provided with your safety gear (harness, helmet, and gloves), and then our trained guides will conduct a safety briefing and demonstration before moving to the starting point of the course. Climb the ladder to your first platform, then travel on the trail, advancing from tree to tree via suspended platforms that are connected by ropes and cables, all integrated into the landscape. You'll cross over varied formations of footbridges such as the Indiana Bridge, Monkey Bridge, and the Duck Walk Bridge. The course consists of 27 challenges/obstacles and 7 zip lines. Highlights of this adventure include a Tarzan jump for the daring, and a breathtaking glide across the Layou River. The view from 40 feet above the ground is stunning and the experience is unforgettable. Throughout the course, trained guides are available to provide assistance and ensure the proper use of your safety equipment. At the end of this exhilarating experience, you'll be served a much-deserved complimentary drink at our riverside bar. Kids can enjoy a similar adrenaline rush at their very own Ti-Ti-Oui Park, adjacent to the reception center, making this an excellent family experience. Under the watchful eye of a guide, children ages 4-11 are assisted along a separate course, which is a maximum of 3 feet off the ground. The course takes approximately 30-40 minutes and, if the child wishes, they will be allowed to do the course a second time. A parent or relative must accompany children to the park (3 children maximum per relative). Adults may participate in the challenge course while the children are exploring their own course. - We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Please do not wear sleeveless shirts. A change of clothing is recommended. - The actual time spent on the Challenge Course may vary, depending on group size and level of physical activity. - Please note: If you choose to purchase the observer option, you will accompany your friends to the zipline park. This does not mean that you will see every aspect of their ziplining tour. Depending on the particular zipline park's layout, you may or may not be able to see them ziplining. - The maximum weight limit is 250 pounds. - Children must be at least 12 years old to participate in the regular challenge course and at least 4 years old to participate in the kid's course. Anyone under 18 must have an adult accompany them as either a participant or observer. - This is an ACTIVE tour. Participants must be in good health. Pregnant women and those with back or heart problems are not allowed to participate. Days offered: 7 days a week Departures:
