Overview
This tour will take you to the north side of the island to see flamingoes and a wonderful museum.
After leaving the pier, we'll begin with a drive through Kralendijk, the main village of Bonaire. We'll travel through the residential and resort areas, and then continue north to enjoy Bonaire's natural beauty. Remnants of geological changes will be observed along the way.
Next, we'll visit Goto Lake, where the flamingoes are usually busy feeding. Here, we'll take time for photographs and an explanation of the life of these fascinating birds.
Then, we're on to Rincon, which is the oldest village in continual existence in the Dutch Caribbean. We'll make a stop at Mangazina di Rei, the second oldest stone structure on Bonaire. Here, you'll find an indoor museum, an open air museum of historic buildings, and a botanical garden.
On our way back to Kralendijk, we'll make a stop at an overlook, where the entire south of the island can be seen.
