Overview
Al around the island!
If you've been to Cayman before, seen the touristy side of the island, and had your fun swimming with the stingrays, now's your chance to take the road less traveled and see the "Real Cayman"--the East End.
Our tour begins with a stop at the Pedro St. James National Historic Site, where you can stroll among seven landscaped acres. Beautiful gardens, the restored Pedro Castle, and breathtaking seaside views are all to be found here. Interpretive signs provide historical and descriptive information.
We'll also visit Caybrew (The Cayman Islands Brewery). Launched in 2007, Caybrew successfully combines ancient brewing techniques with the most current state-of-the-art brewing technology. Here, you'll have the opportunity to sample some of their year-round selections, including Caybrew, CayLight, Ironshore Bock, and White Tip Lager, the #1 beer in the Caribbean!
Our next stop is Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, which not only preserves a segment of the Caymanian landscape, but also offers a walk through time into the rich floral history of these islands. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife. The endangered Blue Iguana, a magnificent large reptile, has its own enclosure within the park.
You'll also have a chance to see an old style Caymanian house, historic Bodden Town, and an exclusive residential area.
Your island experience concludes with a scenic drive back to George Town.
