Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The very private bay is amazing. We have a two bedroom unit in the original tower. The view could not be better. The kitchenette is smaller than the Maui Beach Club, but fine. Good enough for breakfast / lunch prep. Very relaxing location, crowds are small, close to all the stuff from the mainland. Definitely will stay here again. Review:   Beautiful resort. Very well kept. Our kids ages 10 and 7 LOVED our time here - so did we. My only complaint is breakfast was too expensive for a family of 4. We bought cereal and oatmeal and ate in our room. Would have been nice to enjoy the resort breakfast if it wasn't so pricey. We would still love to visit again someday.

Review:   Beautiful spot but anyone who rates this a 5 star has not been anywhere worthy of a 5 star. 1. Beach is absolutely filthy 2. No chairs setup on the beach 3. No service on the grass section 200feet from the beach. 4. Drinks are $15 for 8oz 5. Facilities are still stuck in 1970... Color, decor, etc 6. Pool temp is 60 degrees in late May 7. Parking is $25/night and valet is extra $10 per night 8. This is not a private beach... By any stretch of the imagination. Again, great spot and great view but for a Marriott... Its a disappointment.

Review:   Exceptional resort. Very friendly staff. We did the Hawaii Alive Lua show which was a great sampling of many different types of dances, including the fire dance! The concierge is very helpful. I'd recommend calling before your trip to better help plan your stay. The resort has a beautiful beach which is public but is staffed very well. There are lots of water sport offerings right there so no need to travel far. Pool is heated and is over looked by 5 hot tubs. Perfect for families watching over kids in the pool.

Review:   We can not say enough good things about our stay. Our room was beautiful and very very clean. We were on the main floor so our patio was right in the beautiful gardens. The pool was so clean and big . The island at the pool was very fun when you went over the bridge early in the morning to save your seat. The ocean and beach was my favorite. Plenty of beach chairs for everyone. The food was delicious. We ate out but we also had room service 2 times and it felt great to get pampered. All the staff was so kind and helpful. We are already planning our return trip.
