Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Stunning view. Several towers that provide for the vacation club and hotel guests. A few stores and a few restaurant options (all featuring open water front dining). Fire pits along the pool and beach side for nightly enjoyment. Guest accomodation services for island adventures. Surfing on the hotel's beach available. The pool is stunning. Also right on the golf course. Airport shuttle to and from the resort provided. It does not offer complementary laundry like other facilities nor does it offer in room mini fridge or any kitchen amenities like the ones on the other islands.

Review:   On vacation, booked a couples massage on the beach. I would highly recommend doing this to anyone. The grounds were awesome, and getting the massage right on the beach was great. Definitely get the 80 minute, totally worth every penny. Alexander day spa does just about any service you need. Definitely will come back on our next trip to the islands.

Review:   This is a wonderful resort located on the harbor in Kaua’i. The rooms are spread out through several buildings across the hotel grounds. Across from the lobby and check in area is a beautiful garden with water features, birds, and flowers. The pool is one of the most incredible I have ever seen, with bridges connecting from the periphery to a center section. Several vendors around the pool are available for food, drinks and souvenirs. Along the shore is a sandy beach, connected by a sidewalk to some restaurants and shops. Something I haven’t run into anywhere else were some chickens and roosters wandering around in groups. They seemed friendly, but I didn’t get too close. While the beach is right next to the hotel grounds, it is in a protected harbor and not directly on the ocean shore. Not a big deal just something you should know. There appeared to be some people surfing from the middle of the harbor toward the beach. Friendly staff and very helpful!

Review:   This is a nice property with a key USP of a very large and beautiful pool, with a gorgeous view of the ocean and beautiful Green hills. This place has it all - private beach, great pools, decent bars and restaurants, walking spaces, games, movies, tons of families, couples and kids, an amazing lobby. One of our highlights from the trip was watching a Hula performance organized by the hotel, and the performance and it's setting we're both incredible! I would highly recommend this place for your Kawaii vacation, if you are fine travelling to other parts of the island from here.

Review:   I came with a large group to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. They had a large assortment of different foods, so everyone could find something they liked. The building was also beautiful, and the natural area surrounding the hotel made for a great view!
