Once upon a time there was an idyllic spot on the Caribbean island known as Jamaica: the cradle of reggae, exuberance, and passion. In a secluded enclave close to Montego Bay, sits the Grand Hotel Rose Hall, a fabulous Resort and Spa belonging to Iberostar's elite adults-only, all-inclusive Grand Collection.

All-Inclusive also covers concierge and butler service; certain sporting activities such as basketball, kayaking, windsurfing, aerobics, and water aerobics; use of fitness room; and at least one complimentary round of golf at a nearby golf course.

The Grand Hotel Rose Hall, constructed as a palatial, colonial-style hotel within in the local environment, boasts an abundance of design and decoration that not only blends classical colors and elements with avant-garde details, but also showcases a tasteful selection of furniture, as much in the dining and sitting areas, lobby, and terraces, as in the guest rooms where the balconies overlook and are inspired by an unsurpassed view of the sea.

Grand Hotel Rose Hall's culinary offerings include four specialty restaurants and two buffets. Taste a wide variety of international food, such as regional Jamaican recipes, Japanese teppanyaki, Italian cuisine, and gourmet fare, or relax with an informal lunch at the beach.

Enjoy domestic and international liquors, wines, and cocktails in any of the six bars, each with a different ambience perfect for any occasion.

Famous for its tax-free stores, Jamaica is a magnet for tourist shoppers. However, the Grand Rose Hall has brought the thrill of shopping to the hotel as well. Both local and international merchandise is available in a variety of shops including a jeweler, beach apparel shop, local souvenir vendor, and two Grand Rose logo shops.

Overview

Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall's unmatched customized service consists of personal butler service, special welcome at check-in with champagne and cold, wet towel; sheet menu; mini-bar stocked with your favorite drinks; evening cocktail; newspaper delivery; shoeshine; pool and beach towels; sun products; and reading materials.

Review:   Recommended for: Honeymoons and adults

Pros: Great food and superior size rooms and balconies. Staff has always been wonderful and helpful. This resort has a great beach and because you can share with the 2 other sister properties always plenty to do.

Cons: Large room, if you have something near the bed you want when in the bath room it is sort of far away. Double vanity is split, one side has the hair dryer, ladies pick the right side.
