Walt Disney Imagineers worked hand in hand with locals to create Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina—a place that celebrates Hawaiian culture, history and traditions. From contemporary Hawaiian art featured throughout the Resort, to myriad recreational activities, entertainment, excursions and more, Aulani immerses Guests in the legends of the islands so you can experience the true enchantment of Hawaiʻi.

The master chefs at Aulani have created a variety of dining options for you and your family. We use the finest local ingredients and offer something to please almost every palate.

Aulani is a family paradise with a touch of magic—where everyone can enjoy amazing adventures, both together and on their own. Adults, teens and kids each have their own special places here. And there's plenty of family fun, too.

From the white-sand beach and "valley" of pools and waterslides to the multitude of recreational programs and exhilarating excursions, Aulani provides something for everyone.

Surf in crystalline waters, ride horseback through lush valleys, learn to cook Hawaiian cuisine or kayak through protected offshore islets. Each excursion is entertaining, educational and fun, so your entire family can take home a greater appreciation and understanding of the Aloha State—along with unforgettable vacation memories.

Aulani is part of the Ko Olina Resort Community & Marina, which features spectacular beaches, a championship golf course, shopping, snorkeling, sports fishing and more. Located on the western shore of Oʻahu about 17 miles from the Honolulu International Airport in Hawaiʻi, Aulani rests on 21 acres of beachfront property.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The customer service was amazing! We went for the character breakfast and my son has an allergy. The chef came out to talk to us and make him something he could eat. Always impressed with how nicely we are treated. The staff is always so personable and willing to strike up a conversation. Facilities are clean and so gorgeous.

Review:   This is a beautiful resort. With 3 separate pools (one being for 18+ only). It has a shared beach that's roped off for it's own guest's seating. And non motorized rentals. It also has it's own coral reef where you can snorkel. Great place to learn to snorkel if you've never done it before. But of course as with any Disney property... dining prices are a killer along with drink prices. Beer is 8.00 per bottle or can. Mixed drinks are as high as 15.00 bucks! Buy your own across the street and pour in a plastic glass. You'll save a ton if you enjoy beer.

Review:   Aloha! ...this DVC Resort is by far the best Resort ever ! Great Resort ! We were there for the New Year and for that time of the year ..all the hustle and bustle our experience was definitely a 5 star! This was our first time there and we absolutely loved it ! Upon arrival the bellman and valet staff were outstanding and greeted you with a smile ! The room was clean, bed comfortable, plush pillows, extra blankets, bathroom area big and it had up to date amenities, housekeeping was friendly and the resort staff too. Clean pools and lazy river, the lagoons clean an lots of chairs for the beach area. Great Resort for relaxing and kid friendly. We will definitely recommend to our friends an family and we will be back !

Review:   This place is truly a five star resort. We spent 7 days here this fall as a family. Definitely worth picking up the refillable drink ups as soon as you arrive and refillable pop corn buckets were also good! The resort it self is spotless so we'll kept and beautiful. the sheltered bay beach area is still very active with waves if you have not experienced Hawaiian waves before be careful they will knock you over my kids ran out expecting them to be like home and got swamped. The resort it quite secluded with out a vehicle there is not much to walk to outside of the resort and everything in the resort is family centric there is not much night life to speak of perfect if your looking for a family get away! Our oldest being 11 was the perfect age to do everything he could spend all day at the pools enjoying himself where as my youngest at age 2 was still a bit small for most of the activities and too small for any of the Aunties cottage groups. Even though we were there in the "off season" everything was packed I can't imagine how busy this place gets during the busy season! Life jackets we're all checked out by lunch time and it was impossible to find a lounge chair by the pool unless you got out there right at 8am to reserve a seat. There are no cubbies to leave your stuff in pool side it would have been nice to have lockers or something. Over all if we were to return it would be for a shorter stay by about day 3 all the kids were tired and had fully explored the water park and the toddlers we're very tired from all the crowds. We chose the garden island view room it was the most affordable option but it turned out to be a great choice we faced east away from the resort which was nice for seeing the sunrise and nice to relax after a busy day in the resort spaces.

Review:   If you're a DVC member, this hotel is definitely worth a visit. There are several pool options, including an adults only area, and a private beach, which always had plenty of open chairs when we visited. The hotel has a good variety of food options too. There's not much to eat or do in the immediate vicinity, so definitely get a rental car if you want to see Oahu. It's a very easy drive to Honolulu. Good for families or couples who don't mind the Disney vibe.
