Walt Disney Imagineers worked hand in hand with locals to create Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina—a place that celebrates Hawaiian culture, history and traditions. From contemporary Hawaiian art featured throughout the Resort, to myriad recreational activities, entertainment, excursions and more, Aulani immerses Guests in the legends of the islands so you can experience the true enchantment of Hawaiʻi.

The master chefs at Aulani have created a variety of dining options for you and your family. We use the finest local ingredients and offer something to please almost every palate.

Aulani is a family paradise with a touch of magic—where everyone can enjoy amazing adventures, both together and on their own. Adults, teens and kids each have their own special places here. And there's plenty of family fun, too.

From the white-sand beach and "valley" of pools and waterslides to the multitude of recreational programs and exhilarating excursions, Aulani provides something for everyone.

Surf in crystalline waters, ride horseback through lush valleys, learn to cook Hawaiian cuisine or kayak through protected offshore islets. Each excursion is entertaining, educational and fun, so your entire family can take home a greater appreciation and understanding of the Aloha State—along with unforgettable vacation memories.

Aulani is part of the Ko Olina Resort Community & Marina, which features spectacular beaches, a championship golf course, shopping, snorkeling, sports fishing and more. Located on the western shore of Oʻahu about 17 miles from the Honolulu International Airport in Hawaiʻi, Aulani rests on 21 acres of beachfront property.

Review:   We enjoyed brunch on a Saturday morning and had FANTASTIC service. I am a vegetarian and notified the hostess before we were seated. Upon sitting down, a chef came out and offered to make a special plate of vegetarian fried rice for me, and I accepted (he also offered to walk me through the buffet to get acquainted with which items were vegetarian friendly, but I declined). It was the best fried rice I think I've ever had, and I was very impressed that they took initiative to offer to make me something special. I never would have asked for something additional on my own but the fried rice made all the difference for me! Such great service! They also put on a little show for the kids that they seemed to enjoy, and the characters were a hoot. Even though we only had adults with us the characters were pretty entertaining... Goofy snuck up on my husband and then later, right when we were taking a photo with him, he covered my face with his hand as a joke. It ended up being my favorite photo! We had a great meal and a great experience overall.

Review:   Wondrous place for families with time kids. The meld of Disney and Hawaiian culture is respectful. Food and other items not included in a stay package are very expensive within the resort. Also there aren't many low cost alternatives nearby as there isn't a big city there. The landscape and site itself is beautiful. Our kids had a great time.

Review:   The location is not on the best side of the island but the ground are exceptional. There is an attended water park that is great fun for the kids as well as a man made lagoon that is calm and somewhat private which is nice when the ocean is rough. The bar is beautiful and comfortable. It's upscale but relaxed, a perfect place for a family vacation. We loved every minute of it.

Review:   This is the place to go for any family. It provides a safe place for children to interact and a nice getaway as well. The atmosphere of the place has the Hawaiian vibe with just the right amount of magic. If the on site food amenities are too expensive you can walk down the street and visit the local convenience store. We dined almost exclusively on the resort and found the food cheaper than what is served at the Disney Parks. The quality is also much higher. Overall, we very much enjoyed out visit.

Review:   Beautiful property, beautiful pools with fun slide and lazy river. The breakfast buffet was really good! There were only two characters circulating as Mickey was outside taking pics, but they were highly interactive and we got to take pics with them too. Lots of wonderful food selections, hot and cold. Highly recommended!
