Overview

Why not try white water rafting for the ultimate adventure in Queenstown?

The Kawarau River is a great introduction to white water rafting and provides an exhilarating trip for first time rafters. The four rapids on the Kawarau River are exciting and the scenery is superb. Between rapids you will experience calmer stretches of river, with a unique perspective of the historic Kawarau Bungy Bridge as your raft passes under. The grande finale is the unforgettable 400 metre Dog Leg Rapid to end your trip on New Zealand's largest volume commercially rafted river.

The Shotover River provides the action for those looking for extra excitement and thrills. Step across this great frontier and meet the challenge of rafting the Shotover River, experience the rugged beauty and unspoiled grandeur of the breathtaking scenery as you conquer this wild and untamed river. Tackle six rapids then raft through the darkness of the 170 metre Oxenbridge Tunnel and shoot the Cascade Rapid to complete the challenge.

Heli Rafting combines the thrill of white water rafting with a helicopter flight! Experience a spectacular helicopter flight to the rafting launch site deep within Skippers Canyon.
