About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   We loved our stay here. It is like a small city, with people everywhere, day and night. There are many pools (4, I think) to choose from, and a beautiful lagoon too. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our only criticism of this hotel is the price of equipment hire. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Review:   It's okay. It's a nice hotel, but really feels like a tourist trap. The best part about the property is its proximity to the beach. You can't get any closer, but that can be said of all the beachfront hotels. The lines to check in/out are pretty long. They do try to mitigate this by having very gracious team members expedite the process, but it still takes longer than most hotels. It's also a about half a mile off the main strip, but they do have lots of of the same shops on the property, so there's little need to go to the strip if you don't want. Overall, it just feels really dated. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn, if you're going to stay in a Hilton property in Waikiki. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars.
