A resort overview with General Manager Pascal Forotti of Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo.
Overview
The Resort's 175 guest rooms, suites and residences capture the exotic character of Costa Rica, with comfortable rattan and bamboo furnishings, local artwork and indigenous wood and stone finishes.
Specialising in Latin and Italian cuisine, the Resort uses fresh local ingredients to create an innovative menu that is a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
From the exquisite dishes of our elegant dinner-only restaurants to the exotic cocktails at our airy lobby bar to poolside sandwiches, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Papagayo aims to please every palate.
In the Spa, choose from our comprehensive selection of facials, body treatments and massages that make full use of indigenous ingredients, such as mineral-rich rainforest muds.
The Four Seasons is positioned on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific coast within the province of Guanacaste. Though it's the country's second-largest province by area, Guanacaste is the least populated, offering a calm, peaceful ambience. The pampas – or prairie – landscape is an unusual mix of grassy savannahs, immense cattle ranches and tropical dry forest, backed by volcanic mountain ranges. Guanacaste also offers some of the country's best beaches – with shores stretching about 160 kilometres (99 miles) from the border with Nicaragua to the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Four Seasons is located on exclusive Peninsula Papagayo, a master-planned resort community encompassing 930 hectares (2,300 acres). This secluded natural sanctuary provides abundant opportunities to experience eco-adventure on land and in the water.
