About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The Grand Wailea luau was very good. The food was very good, offering a large variety of Hawaiian foods. Other luau's have let us watch as they remove the pig from the cooking pit and explained how it is cooked. I missed that. It was not presented in ceremonial fashion. Dancers were excellent. Loved the fire dance as well as the airial silk strip dancer and the white cloud dancer. Very good meal and show. The Grand Wailea is beautiful.

Review:   AMAZING! It's right by the most beautiful beach with the softest sand. The rooms are luxurious with huge bathrooms. The pools are lovely and great! The rope swing, the water elevator, the slides, e.t.c....endless fun! And the fish pipe is a can't miss! Even though it costs some extra money, it's a rare find. It's one of my favorites and I always look forwards to it.

Review:   We stayed in room 2050 with a view of the ocean and grounds. In our room, we had 2 queen beds, wish we could have gotten a king, but they go pretty quick. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and very well kept. The staff was probably the friendliest we've ever encountered. What we enjoyed most was the spa. The Maui Water Hydrotherapy experience was one we suggest everyone take part in. Even if you don't get a massage, you can enjoy the hot and cold tubs, wet and dry saunas, the Japanese bathing stations, the Hawaii rainforest showers, the jet showers, and the 5 tubs with all natural scents and essential oils, each having a different healing properties. If you get a chance to stay at this resort, we highly suggest that you do!

Review:   This place has it all! Loads of pools to visit, massive indoor / outdoor lobby that is beautiful! Didn't stay there but visited there often. Had dinner at the restaurant with the straw roof (don't remember the name). And it was delicious. If your in wailea, you must walk the resort. I loved it!!
