Sweet tooths will be tempted with choices ranging from key lime pie with a graham cracker crust to fried ice-cream with cinnamon powdered sugar and chocolate sauce.

A dinner favorite is the fresh grouper - lightly spiced and pan seared, served with a tequila sauced veggie salsa with charred onions, black beans, corn, carrots and red and green peppers. For another seafood choice, try the exquisite lightly sauteed shrimp with delicious pesto cream over penne pasta. For the gourmet palate, try the filet mignon grilled with a fragrant red wine mushroom sauce. Also ask your server about the Catch of the Day.

Delicious appetizers include Conch (pronounced "conk") fritters, Conch chowder, and Cuban black bean soup.

The Turks and Caicos are home to one of the longest barrier reefs in the world - it's over 125 miles long, and protects the north shore of the island of Providenciales. The barrier reef is and an ideal spot to observe humpback whales, and with underwater visibility exceeding 100 feet in most locations, the coral reefs, sea mounts and sea walls that surround the islands are perfect for encountering schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, eagle rays and even sharks.

The Turks and Caicos is a mecca for watersport. High-quality equipment is easy to rent here, especially when staying at a resort, and it's also possible to arrange for lessons, even if you're a beginner looking to learn the basics, or an accomplished master wanting to take it to the next level.

For some, golf is a way of life. There's no need to leave the links behind when you travel to the Turks and Caicos. Instead, you can look forward to playing on one of the top ten 18-hole golf courses in the Caribbean. The natural limestone outcroppings, carpeted in unique prickly pear cactus and scrub foliage make for a memorable experience. Try some golf-oriented shopping therapy at the clubhouse, and finish up your day with a drink followed by dinner on a terrace overlooking the golf course and the setting Caribbean sun.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Not what we expected for the money. No water in our condo right before bedtime- different answers every time we called the front desk. Super disorganized, extremely disappointed.

Review:   We stayed at the resort for 7 nights and had a great time. We had the ocean suite on the 3rd floor. The room was very big, nice full kitchen, wash & dryer large screened porch which we often had our meals on. The resort had several pools which we didn't use because the beach was only 20 yards away. There was a gym, hot tub, and spa for massages. Loved that they had gear you could check out for free. The items were bicycles, snorkeling gear, paddle boards, kayaks and a few other items. There is a mini-shop onsite if you need snacks. They did have a nice restaurant onsite which got high praises from even locals when talking to them. The hotel is located about half a mile from the strip where the shops, restaurants are as well as the grocery store. We checked out the bikes or walked to the shops. Free wifi in the hotel. Overall this place had everything you need.

Review:   A great little resort on Grace Bay. My "ocean view" one bedroom had a awesome view over the bay. A nice sized screened in deck and a vacation sized kitchen that had everything we needed. Washer and dryer as well. Downside was a small bathroom (planning on spending a lot of time in there?) and the mattress in the bedroom wasn't the best but maybe that was just mine. The wife wants to buy a place in there. Really beautiful grounds and the addition of the spa and sundries store was a plus. Bikes were handy to get to the IGA down the street. Loved it!
