The McKinley Chalet Resort, one of our Denali lodges, open May 14 - September 19, 2012, offers 345 upscale rooms, fine and casual dining, on-site dinner theater, on-site raft departures, and endless walking trails next to the Nenana River. Spanning over 42 acres, the McKinley Chalet Resot offers a variety of room types and settings to meet everyone's need to help plan their Alaska adventure travel.

You'll enjoy the convenience of two full-service restaurants, several retail, food and beverage outposts, and coffee carts throughout the facility. The Nenana View Bar & Grille offers an inventive menu featuring outstanding appetizers, fresh Alaskan seafood, delectable desserts, and the finest wine list in the area that will make your vacation in Alaska a memorable one. The Courtyard Café offers simple, hearty fare with freshly prepared food in our multiple action station, all in a casual setting.

Mini Suites, along the glacial-fed Nenana River, add an extra element of relaxation and luxury. Suites feature one double and one twin bed – ideal for families. An additional sitting room offers a pull-out sofa bed. Cottonwood View Rooms are nestled right alongside the riverbank, and offer spectacular views.

In an effort to preserve the fragile ecosystem of Denali National Park, the National Park Service has limited access on the park road for private vehicles. To experience the best of the Park, we suggest taking one of our fascinating and awe-inspiring interpretive land tours. The land tours give you the opportunity for full-time wildlife spotting – and also allow you the chance to sit back, relax and listen to your Interpretive Guide share stories about the history, culture and geography that surrounds you.
