Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We were here for a conference. Pleasant staff and fairly standard, large chain hotel. Handy for staying in town and visiting the sights. We had the $12 breakfast, which was more than enough for us. Although the bacon did smell divine... Parking was a tad of an expensive surprise as we hadn't booked ourselves. But, I suppose it's in line with big city costs.

Review:   Clean room. Good space and has an ironing board and iron which is good for business people traveling. Good bathroom facilities. But room feels little stuffy and windows cannot be opened. Makes it feel little claustrophobic. Other than that it's a decent place.

Review:   Clean bedroom. Has all the basics in the room. When I first check-in, the guy at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. However, on the day of checking out, the ladies at the reception kept ringing to press for checking out. That was not very nice. Checkout was supposed to be 12pm but they rang my room once at 11.30pm then another time at 11.45pm. My phone was even ringing when I left the room before 12pm. That's pretty upsetting!

Review:   Clean and functional rooms, beds are comfortable, bath area is small but clean and well equipped. Very friendly staff, especially housekeepingwho are always ready with a smile and a hello. Good filling breakfast is available in the restaurant, which also has excellent food of a night. More than adequate accommodations for an extended stay of a week or more.
