Pros: Atlantis is beautiful. It has shopping, a casino, an Aquarium, Dolphin Encounters, Water Park, amazing pool, and so much more. You will not run out of things to do and see at Atlantis. It is gigantic. Cons: Atlantis is not an ALL INCLUSIVE. We can add a meal plan, so they are included. I personally like the Cable Beach section of Nassau better than Paradise Beach where Atlantis is located. |

Pros: The Atlantis is a beautiful property, massive in size, but has staff that does not fail to deliver. I spent a week at the property, enjoying the wide variety of restaurants, thrilling water slides, relaxing pools, great work out facility, and gorgeous beach. Having a family with food allergies, every dining staff was able to accommodate. Meals were expensive and I was glad we took the gourmet meal plan as it was worth every penny! The water slides were great and my kids really enjoyed spending hours on them as we cooled off at the pool. The work out facility was clean and had enough machines to get a decent workout in. Although they give you apples, water bottles, and towels, I was a little taken back that the facility required a $15/day fee to use the gym. However, the lap pool was free. Being in the Bahamas, the beaches are expected to be beautiful and the Atlantis did not disappoint! The staff was there to place lounge chairs and umbrellas, as they served us. Security was impeccable at the property with check points in multiple areas. I never felt unsafe or unsure to let my kids roam the property on their own. Overall, we had a fabulous time at the Atlantis and look forward to coming back soon. On another note, if you are looking to host a business outing, the Atlantis has a great staff and never told us no as they were willing to fulfill our demands. With poor weather during our stay, we opted to change our venue several times, one on the day of the event, and the staff was there making every detail not go missed. Fathoms is a great venue to host a cocktail hour with dinner as the views and facility are excellent. Cons: Being in the Bahamas, all imports face a 65% tax, making everything that much more expensive. Food, although excellent, was expensive. With some of our dinners being several hundred dollars, I would highly recommend taking a meal plan. We opted for the gourmet plan, however Nobu is not on the plan's dining options. Our favorite restaurant was Cafe Martinique, while Seafire Steakhouse, and Mesa Grill were great options too! I would advise to stay away from the Bahamian Club as the service was terrible and the food tasted as if it was reheated from another restaurant then brought to our table. Drinks were tasty, but overpriced. Corkage, on average, was $40-$50 a bottle. Cocktails were small and around $15 with low shelf booze. Although the property had great activities, everything was at an additional cost, making us feel nickled and dimed. You would think that a resort fee would cover gym, wifi, etc, but nothing was covered. Wifi was $20 for 24 hours and the gym was $15 dollars a day, which made me question what the resort fee actually covered. |
