Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Had a great time during our stay over the long weekend. Swam in the pool every day and was really pleased to find the big pool was lovely and warm. The room had everything we needed although the balcony in room 124 only had a view of the roof. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection and our room service meal was lovely too. The staff were nice and Thomas at reception was especially helpful.

Review:   Friendly staff that were always polite and helpful. We were given everything we asked reception for very promptly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Located in a pretty good part of town with heaps of restaurants and the centre of town being a 5 min drive away.

Review:   Amazing place, food is great, both dinner and breakfast are buffet and the quality is amazing. Very friendly staff and also helpful. Clean rooms and modern. Pool is heated and they have 2 outdoor spas both open till 2230. On site gym has modern equipment. Always a pleasure staying here, by far one of my favourite my places to stay in Rotorua.

Review:   The hotel is in a convenient location, about 5 to 10 minutes from most of the food and stores on Fenton Street, and less than that from the local thermal villages. They offer discounts to some of the local tourist spots as well. My room was pretty comfortable, and the staff is friendly with good service overall. I had some pretty frustrating connectivity issues with the wifi, however, which can be a problem when traveling without any kind of international mobile data plan. Overall, it was a nice place to stay while in town for work for a week.
