Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Clean modern rooms in excellent location. Two or three blocks to River Walk through heart of Melbourne. Prices are very reasonable for the area. It is in the middle of upgrades but sound never bothered us. Staff were always helpful and very pleasant. Would stay again.

Review:   Outstanding and upbeat attitude from the staff at the front desk. The room was spacious and modern. We found the room to be superior to 2 Crown Plazas we stayed at the previous week. Well situated for the walking tourist. Photo opportunities galore. The hotel's breakfast was superior, however as an alternative there are a dozen outstanding coffee shops within 5 minutes walk.

Review:   Never stayed in a Holiday Inn b4 and was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was lovely. The room was big and had floor to ceiling window looking down onto a Melbourne Street. Everything was top notch there from the room to the staff. The breakfast was delicious too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review:   Nice hotel in the middle of the CBD and walking distance from Southern Cross Station. The hotel has good amenities: gym, jacuzzi, meeting room, restaurant. The restaurant has very good food. The staffs at the hotel are nice and helpful. The only negative is that one side of the hotel faces the metro train line. It could be noisy when the train goes by.

Review:   The location is good, 10 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of Elizabeth St. And its opposite the train station too. Breakfast is decent but expect almost the same rotation every 2 to 3 days. Staff are accommodating enough. The beds are very comfortable with soft and firm pillow options ready. It was a very comfortable stay.
