Overview
The Casa de Sierra Nevada combines a simple elegance, excellent service and wonderful tranquillity in a beautiful and luxurious setting.
Distributed among Casa del Parque, our main building, and four colonial mansions, Casa de Sierra Nevada has 15 Deluxe and Executive Rooms.
Embracing the original colonial architecture, each manor house has been skillfully restored to provide all the modern comforts while retaining their historic character. At Casa de Sierra Nevada no two rooms are alike; each has its own individual décor, celebrating the spirit of San Miguel de Allende. Characterized by period furnishings and stunning art and antiques, our rooms are decorated in superb fabrics and feature richly colored Talavera-tiled bathrooms.
The Casa de Sierra Nevada's restaurants are at the top of hotel dining establishments in San Miguel, Mexico, and the culinary choices on offer are as exceptional as the hotel itself. The hotel features two restaurants or guests may opt to dine in the privacy of their room or terrace.
The more relaxed restaurant, Casa del Parque, is known for its regional Mexican cuisine and evenings filled with the boleros of a local trio. The space is divided into four sections: the bar, main dining room, the patio overlooking the garden of the house and the private Salon Don Ignacio.
The Andanza restaurant in Casa Principal, provides a relaxed elegance where guests can enjoy continental cuisine with regional influences as well as entertainment by a live pianist or trio.
A private dining room for eight is perfect for a family celebration or other special occasion.
Peaceful though this is—especially when within the tranquil Laja Spa—just step outside and you are surrounded by San Miguel de Allende's many colors, scents and sounds.
The hotel has its own cooking school, Sazon, where you can learn to create traditional Mexican treats. To savor the local cooking at leisure there is a choice of two exceptional restaurants.
Weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, banquets, private dining, cocktails, meetings... The beautiful city of San Miguel offers a wonderful mix of colonial architecture and a rich tradition of artisanship, offering the perfect setting for any event. The hotel offers a range of wonderful space each of with their own unique décor and rich colonial architecture.
