Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Clean studio room with park views. Extensive minibar options and great in room menu which I didn't get to try. We had to pay $29 for breakfast so we have that a miss. Toiletries were from the brand 'this works' but no toothbrush and toothpaste unless you contact concierge. The are no pokies at the casino either but plenty of high rolling Chinese at the table games. Great bar staff.

Review:   Fantastic, quiet location. Only 300 meters from Canberra City - shopping centre and dining precinct. Next door to a lovely park. Great hotel with a lovely foyer and common areas. Good facilities and Red Salt restaurant. Lovely rooms. Comfy beds.

Review:   Been looking for a good hotel for a while after ditching the QT. The hotel itself is OK but the rooms are starting to date, especially the bathrooms (Shower over bath in a 5 star hotel?). Room service menu is good however I could never get through so had to order through reception each time I ordered, not the end of the world but you'd think they would staff accordingly depending on the number of guests. Otherwise it's perfectly fine for an overnight stay and it's convenient to the middle of the city and other key spots around the ACT. I think my search continues.

Review:   Great location for shopping in the city. WiFi available. Easy walking distance to city centre. Rooms very clean and well appointed and staff always courteous and friendly Swimming pool is small but makes for a refreshing dip after a hot day. Well fitted out gym with a sauna. Buffet breakfast has good choices from a wide range of freshly prepared food and a chef to make an omelette or eggs your favorite way. Can be busy and noisy if you go at 8am - ish. Local newspapers available. concierge has good supply of information of whats on in Canberra available and happy to google any other information you may need.Parking is a little tight but secure.

Review:   The crown was just fantastic. Been there twice on two separate trips now, and i love it. If you ever stay there try the beef burger on the overnight menu if you're ever up late and hungry. A lovely juicy patty with fresh veggies and full of flavor. McDonald's just doesn't deliver the same quality. But, the cheesecake was a bit tiny. The free breakfast was fantastic. A juice machine is provided with fresh fruit to make your own juice combinations. Helpful and super freindly staff just tie the bow on the place. Will be more than happy to stay again. Highly recomend.
