In 2010, the beautiful Fairmont Hamilton Princess celebrates its 125th anniversary.
Overview
Located in the heart of Hamilton city just steps from Bermuda's finest restaurants, shops and attractions, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess beach hotel offers unsurpassed amenities for business and leisure travelers alike including fresh and saltwater pools, outdoor putting green and some of the island's most celebrated restaurants such as Heritage Court, recently praised by the New York Times as having the best afternoon tea in Bermuda.
Relax in a comfortable Adirondack chair with views of bobbing sailboats in stunning Hamilton Harbour or hop on the resort's complimentary ferry to the Fairmont Beach Club in Southampton, where you can enjoy its private pink sand beach.
Guests of the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Bermuda beach hotel can also play golf at Riddell's Bay Golf and Country Club—the resort's exclusive 18-hole partner—in addition to the Fairmont Southampton Golf Course, which boasts eighteen executive par three holes.
In addition to the 31,000-square-feet Willow Stream spa at the Bermuda luxury hotel's sister property in Southampton, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess also boasts a fitness center and day spa offering massages and body treatments of all kinds.
Fondly referred to by Bermudians as "The Pink Palace," The Fairmont Hamilton Princess resort opened its doors on January 1, 1885. Bermuda had gained international recognition two years earlier in 1883 when Princess Louise, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria, visited for a winter retreat and called it "a place of eternal spring."
Bermuda takes up a mere twenty-one-square-miles of land, but holds enough spectacular attractions to keep you busy for days. Whether exploring its popular attractions or wandering off the beaten path, you're sure to have a memorable stay no matter how much free time you have.
