Review:   The room is just like a normal hotel nothing special for the price you pay. The shower has no pressure like little rain falling on you a night mare. It's super expensive for room service to only get food burn to ciders it's hard and can not be eaten. When you order room service you get charged a $4 tray fee which they don't tell u about, You feel so ripped off when you consider how much you pay for the room and that you pay more for the food you order for room service because of conviniance, but to then charge you a tray fee on top of each order is ridiculous. It's not about the amount of money for the tray fee it's about how you feel when you already spent a fortune on the room etc it feels deceitful. Recently would not stay here again or any of there other Stamford Plaza around this has been a bad experience. I tried to get some toiletries and the person didn't understand cotton bud could barely speak much English, unacceptable if your working with people you need to understand and respond in English especially when that is the spoken language on Australia. When I asked what the tray fee was for they couldn't explain. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Service is average.

Review:   Having read some of the low rated reviews, I'm not sure what hotel these people stayed in but I can guarantee I enjoyed my stay very much. Perhaps some people are just never satisfied... This is a very nice hotel, especially after having spent 36 hours in planes and airports! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Being so close to the airport I was very impressed by the sound-proofing in the rooms - I didn't hear a thing. Complimentary WiFi was a great addition and seemed fast enough and was easy to access. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard but well set out and I felt like there was enough variety without being over the top. The coffee machine is a great addition! Checkout was a breeze and the staff were all polite and helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay. Will definitely spend a night here next time I have a particularly long layover!

Review:   This place was great to spend the night before travelling internationally. The lady at the front desk welcomed us with hot towels and bottled water as it was a humid night. Pros: Standard small hotel room (depending on what you pay I guess) but the bed was not too soft, the toiletries were all stocked up, it wasn't too noisy and it's close to the airport. The bath and shower were both fine, the bath may be a little shallow The breakfast buffet had Western food selections but also some congee which I didn't expect but did appreciate, and a donut wall! Cons: The price can fluctuate significantly Mild con - walking there from the domestic terminal is a little tricky as you need to follow paths around the airport's semi industrial areas. You'll also need to book a shuttle to the international terminal which is $7 per person. Other mild con - if you wanted to use it as a base for Sydney you'd have to use the rail link to the city which would be $15.

Review:   Restaurant awful. No service . Food mediocre at best (only fresh fruit met expectations- you couldn't ruin it!) the omelette guy had no idea how to make an omelette.. machine coffee sad.. Front desk staff excellent

Review:   Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and modern room with everything you need. Very good location next to the airport, particularly for domestic flights, and not too far from the nearest train station (Mascot) into the city. Also, the food and service in La Boca restaurant, at the hotel, was very good.
