Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Could improve breakfast (food quality and choice average). Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Tip: Breakfast at Pullman hotel down the road is better.

Review:   Nice hotel. Comfy bed. Great location for airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Spa out of order which was a shame as that was part of the reason I came (bad back :(). )

Review:   Clean room, didn't like climbing over into the shower, even with handrails, the tub floor felt slippery. The exhaust fan in the bathroom couldn't keep the mirror clear after a shower though. Great feature was that we stayed 1 night, checked out, but could leave our car parked securely there for the 2 days we flew to Tasmania. We just went to the car & drove out after pre-paying when we checked out

Review:   Nice hotel with good and cool views. Just a little boring and old rooms. Good service and not so long to the city.

Review:   The room is just like a normal hotel nothing special for the price you pay. The shower has no pressure like little rain falling on you a night mare. It's super expensive for room service to only get food burn to ciders it's hard and can not be eaten. When you order room service you get charged a $4 tray fee which they don't tell u about, You feel so ripped off when you consider how much you pay for the room and that you pay more for the food you order for room service because of conviniance, but to then charge you a tray fee on top of each order is ridiculous. It's not about the amount of money for the tray fee it's about how you feel when you already spent a fortune on the room etc it feels deceitful. Recently would not stay here again or any of there other Stamford Plaza around this has been a bad experience. I tried to get some toiletries and the person didn't understand cotton bud could barely speak much English, unacceptable if your working with people you need to understand and respond in English especially when that is the spoken language on Australia. When I asked what the tray fee was for they couldn't explain. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Service is average.
