Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   For an upmarket hotel it's alright. The rooms are quite dated visually; I am personally not fond of the 70's decor. The staff were friendly. The café there looks expensive so we didn't eat there. There is a fridge in the room and the rooms themselves have a good amount of space, with a large TV. In the reception there are same games you can play and books to read. The hotel itself is massive and has many wings but is environmentally friendly. I think we had an upgraded room. There was quite a nice view of a mountain from the window!

Review:   Great room with spa, really convient location right in the heart of Te Anua. My partner and I cannot recommend Hamish on the front desks local knowledge, for a dinner recommendation and his overall friendleness enough. 5/5
