Overview

Make yourself at home in Kahana. This beachfront community is the calm cousin to West Maui's high-profile destinations of Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua Resort. You won't find the typical string of Maui hotels, dazzling storefronts, and streams of shoppers and diners – although that's only a few minutes away if the mood strikes. Instead, step into casual comfort at Outrigger Royal Kahana, a pleasant Maui condo that takes full advantage of its discreet Kahana setting. Welcome the sun on a morning stroll chasing waves along the sand. Breathe in the breeze that sweeps across the ocean view from your high-rise lanai. Marvel at humpback whales slapping and rolling so close to shore!

Soaring high above the coastline between the renowned areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua, Outrigger Royal Kahana offers a unique vantage point for travel to Maui.

This Maui condo is just steps to Kahana Gateway Center with renowned Roy's restaurant and award-winning microbrews at Maui Brewing Co. And explore more of West Maui, an easy drive in any direction. Visit lively Lahaina, a hot spot for whaling history, contemporary art, and late-night fun. At Kaanapali Beach Resort, people-watch at Whalers Village, it's always brimming with beach activity. Discover nature-made Kapalua Resort, a stunning sanctuary of beautiful bays, walking trails, and championship greens.

Located between the resort areas of Kaanapali Beach and Kapalua Bay, a 45-minute drive from Kahului Airport and a five-minute drive from Kapalua West Maui Airport.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Great little spot, quiet, within walking distance of beach and shopping areas. Room was clean and there was a nice breeze (windows on both sides open for cross-ventilation). Only rated a 4-star, because no housekeeping service included even though paying a nightly-rental rate (disclosed at time of booking), though it was available for additional cost.

Review:   The rooms are old, but it doesn't really matter. Everything is well maintained and the view makes up for any of the room's shortcomings. Lots of amenities, and the activity concierges will get you discounts on any activities you want. I'll definitely stay here again.

Review:   Roaches and no Beach. Don't let the pictures fool you. The beach is gone. If you stay you will then have roaches to contend with. Way more than we were prepared to let go of. It was bad. See the pics.

Review:   Seems like it had its hayday in the 80s. The beach by the hotel is inaccessible due to erosion. Rooms were fine but not amazing. The hotel is very close to many wonderful destinations. I have enjoyed my stay.
