Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The room we got have a beautiful view of the river. Free passage on the boat across the river where you can take the train. Breakfast was inspiring with great variety. Everything was great except that they dun have much tea bags option. Probably just me as I am a tea drinker. The staff was great and accommodating. The room service Thai food was great too. Its a wonderful stay in the hotel.

Review:   It is our pleasure to stay in the Peninsula Hotel this time for our stay in Bangkok. The welcome by staff was great and the check in procedure was fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by a friendly staff member and shown all the facilities. Our room is very comfortable, with everything that we could need. Most importantly the king sized bed is comfortable, and there are tea and coffee making facilities. We chose not to have breakfast this time, but know from past experience that it would be amazing. This may be our first visit here but I know it will not be our last. Thank you Peninsula Bangkok.

Review:   Good hotel, good service, honest food. The spa is amazing and the concierge service is great! The room was spacious, as well as the closet space and the bathroom. The location is not good, despite the amazing views. The pool is beautiful, and is great that they provide water while you are there. But it is always partially sunny, so it’s impossible to find a place under the sun, and the staff is quite noisy. The breakfast is always crowded, and the balcony space is too close to the piers where the boat shuttles park and you smell diesel and hear motors during your entire meal. I recommend due its price/benefit ratio.

Review:   Overnight stay in Bangkok and we opted for the Peninsula and it did not disappoint. In true Peninsula fashion, the front door was opened by bell staff dressed in white uniform with white hat and gloves. Check in was fast and in room in no time. Our room on the 25th floor was spacious and amazing view overlooking the other side of the river. You absolutely have everything you can imagine in the room , even a fax machine with it's own number; the dressing room was a nice touch; the bathroom had dual sinks, separate tub and shower and a TV by the tub. We even discovered a pigeon hole in the dressing room where you can put your shoes in, push a button and your shoes will be cleaned/polished. There were also some exotic fruits and a tea set with tea leaf for your enjoyment. The hotel ground was nicely maintained, and they have their own boat which, I think, takes guests to the other side of the river. Walking pass the Thiptara restaurant during dinner time and the smell will make your mouth waters. Staff from the bell desk to the reception to the concierge desk to the lobby restaurant were all polite and all willing to help. Impeccable service.
