Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The lady who owns the lodge is so rude. I've never ever experienced such a thing! Dodge this place - in Rotorua there are so many beautiful places to stay with really gracious owner/operators.

Review:   Great views from this lodge however at the price you pay it's way over the top especially when you're greeted with spider webs all over deck chairs as well as a few daddy long leg spiders under the bed, from carpark to unit is pitch dark no lights at all, spa pool is half a meter high and no step or anything to get in?!!Place not well maintained at all. However staff are friendly and dining area quite neat. Much better value for money elsewhere in Rotorua, believe me I know what I'm talking about.
