Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Executive rooms were nothing special; just the same as every other room in the hotel. Still nice. Concierge staff were wonderful and very helpful. Executive lounge staff were extremely rude and the service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend paying for anything executive, as you definitely do not get your money's worth and are not treated any better.

Review:   Very nice property right by the water and the wharf. The property itself is nice enough, but the real value is the proximity to the other attractions. You are within walking distance of a dozen restaurants as well as the Reef Casino. The area is a really nice retreat when you have finished your eco related activities that brought you to Cairns.

Review:   Wonderful staff at reception, prompt check-in and housekeeping. Ocean view room with private balcony overlooking trinity inlet. Short walk to reef terminal and shops and restaurants. Room furnishing is a little dated but functional.
