Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Lovely restaurant, small but good play area for children. BEAUTIFUL original Aboriginal artworks for sale in the foyer, you won't be able to leave without purchasing one! You don't have to be a hotel guest to dine in the restaurant. They make great burgers. And good coffee, served with delicious tiny biscuits.

Review:   We stayed for 2 nights and we're asked for our credit card as a holding deposit. Told no money would come off until we booked out and told them how we would like to pay. The staff were great and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay even though rooms were very expensive for the out dated and run down decor. On checkout I paid out of my check account $703. Room and dinner. $666.55 still held against my credit card. I have rung twice in the last 5 days asking for it to be released. Still not available. This has really soured our thoughts on ever staying again. Last time I spoke to a guy named Josh he told me he would ring me back after talking to accounts department. Still waiting. So not a very happy customer!!!!

Review:   Interior of the room was nice enough. Restaurant is in dire need of sound deadening. Food was hit and miss.
