Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My wife and I stayed at the Mercure Kakadu for three nights and it was fantastic. The staff was amazing; they helped to organize my trip to the Yellow river as well as my flight over the Jim Jim falls. The breakfast was superb with a big selection, and dinner had a great variety of local dishes. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and you were able to relax after a long day exploring the area. I would love to return to this part of the world again and would not hesitate in staying at the Mercure.

Review:   Fun stay in this unique, crocodile shaped hotel. The restaurant and staff were very nice. The kids especially liked the automatic pancake maker at breakfast! The pool and common areas are generally nice but the rooms and especially the restrooms need maintenance and renovation.

Review:   Popped into the Escarpment Restaurant for lunch and very pleased with the taste, size and quality of the meal. Had the Chicken BBQ Pizza and the Pull Pork Panini. Impressive and compliments to the chef!

Review:   Clean, comfortable, good A/C, friendly staff. Restaurant buffet very good and reasonable wine bottle pricing. Pool good but could use more regular maintenance. Small not quite cold enough bar fridge and no elevator to second level are only negatives.
