Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   To be honest, the stay was not as expected. While the hotel is marketed as a luxury hotel the suite I was in was just average in comparison with the major hotels. The shower looked old and the room looked like it could do with a renovation. On reception they were more interested in trying to up sell me to a larger suite than providing me with a warm reception. The gentleman's reception was ice cold. Would I stay here again? Definitely not and if not for the great job done by Concierge and the warm checkout I received I would have rated a 2. If u want old world charm with old world facilities and services. Come here otherwise for the money there are much better options to choose from in Brisbane

Review:   The staff were excellent and worked hard to be helpful. But... the seafood buffet had good you would expect at an RSL not at an upmarket inner city hotel. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade of our room, but unfortunately the shower looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. It's a shame as the views commanded by the hotel and the willingness of the staff are still 5 star.

Review:   We have loved staying at the Stamford on both occasions with family having stayed there over the past 20 years. It excels in service and friendly professional staff. We enjoy all the comforts of both the room and the convenience of amenities. The rooms also feature beautiful views of the city or river, especially at night overlooking the Storey Bridge.
