Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Nice central location, easily walkable from the train station. Room was clean with a nice view of the bridge. Lounge was adequate, but not staffed often View from the lounge was nonexistent and drinks would often be depleted before lounge hours would suggest, so get there early. Staff were always very courteous and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.

Review:   Location, Location, Location! Everything you might want is nearby AND you are staying at the Marriott which seemed Central to all. The accommodations, meals, support staff were excellent and we felt supported and cared for. Everything felt like it was within walking distance, the Sydney Opera House, eateries and stores galore, the Central Market, the trains, water ferries & taxis, movie theaters. Thirsty? Many cozy spots nearby, Music filled the streets and it seemed to be a truly happy place to be.

Review:   Guest services took good care of us. The location is ideal for someone in Sydney for the first time. The executive lounge had great coffee and snacks. It was also super easy to print. Would definitely return.

Review:   We were upgraded to Opera House view room. The room was fantastic - very spacious. Food at Three Bottle Man was tasty and served quickly. Jessica at Reception was lovely and supplied a bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. We will definately stay there again.

Review:   If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... My husband and I stayed here three nights, two before and one after our cruise. The location was amazing! You are within walking distance to the Cruise Ship Terminal in Circular Key, the Sydney Opera House, and the Queen Victoria Building among others. The staff was kind and our room was perfect! The bed was very comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. Additionally, the Marriott offers an Early Arrivals Lounge free of charge where you can shower, have snacks and freshen up if you arrive to the hotel before your room is ready (which we did due to coming in on an intentional flight). The hotel also offers free currency exchange up to $100 per day which was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!
