Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Update 2018: We stay here several times a year. While it has been great in the past, this year (2018) was the worst experience by far. Room was dusty - with my wife and I sneezing constantly when we are in the room. Room cleaning was not thorough and even left a wet towel in the room on the side of a chair - trying to dry it? The towels didn't look clean and were spotty. Staff were otherwise friendly and helpful so I am not sure why these issues occurred this time. It's clear there are cost-savings taking place as some benefits were reduced or no longer available. Disappointed and was glad to leave. ------- Minor issue with billing and staff took care of it, no problem. Room safe was broken and maintenance staff came quickly and ended up replacing it. The fitness center is fantastic and accessible 24 hours. Lots of proper equipment and is a fitness club during the day. Convenient location to tourist spots like Opera House and The Rocks. Walking distance to shopping areas like Pitt Street mall. Road traffic is horrible due to nearby road work but train station is one block away.

Review:   Perfect place to stay. So close to Circular Quay. 1 minute walk and to have everything you need to see and do to experience Sydney. The Rocks, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, ferries, food and entertainment all walking distance. Awesome staff, gorgeous foyer and clean rooms. Don't forget your swimmers to enjoy the indoor heated pool and sauna. Huge gym if you need your work out also.

Review:   Lovely hotel in a very central place. Staff are friendly and the lounge food is pretty decent. The room is quite cozy but I wish that they implement some charging points nearer to the bed. The view from my room is awesome sunrise on the SYD Harbor Bridge

Review:   Great centrally-located hotel, with excellent service one would expect from a 5 star Marriott. Large Executive/Club lounge with very attentive staff. Very good breakfast. Spacious rooms, with comfy bed. Look forward to my next visit.

Review:   My home away from home in Sydney. They always manage to find me a room early as my flights always arrive in the morning. Decent gym and walking distance to a lot of great places. One block from the ferry terminal and trains of you need to go further. Only problem is the elevators are extremely slow.
