Our first guests arrived 3,500 years ago and liked the place so much, they stayed.

According to local legend, the first Fijians arrived around 1500 BC, landing on the beach at First Landing.

Today, you too can discover and enjoy this intimate, authentic Fijian resort, ideally located only 25 minutes away from Nadi and 35 minutes from Denarau Island, for your Fiji holiday. The resort has easy access to the nearby Mamanuca Islands, by boat from the resort's new jetty or adjacent Vuda Yacht Marina.

We are a small, owner-operated resort, featuring a range of accommodation options from Fijian style Bures to our two bedroom, luxurious, self-catering Royal Villa or Garden Villas, each situated in their own enclosed tropical garden with a full sized pool. We also have a lively bar and popular beachside restaurant. We pride ourselves on personal attention to our guests, and the genuine hospitality of our staff will ensure your stay is a memorable one.

First Landing has a great choice in accommodation ranging from affordable Bures (Fijian for cottage) which comprise Tropical Garden Bures, Deluxe Tropical Garden Bures and Beachfront Spa Bures to Luxury 2 bedroom Villas to Garden and Beach Villa with private pool swimming pool and enclosed private garden and Oceanview Apartments. We have some rooms with disabled facilities on request. The room rates are for 2 adults and 2 children (16yrs and under) with daily continental breakfast.

Our activities bure at the poolside is the place to go to find out what can be planned for the day around the resort… perhaps a Fijian cooking class, or a walk through the gardens to learn how the Fijians use the local plants, bit of fish feeding or learn how to weave coconut leaves into all kinds of practical things, or work on strategies for the evening's crab race plus many more interesting activities. The resort has kayaks located at the beachside along with snorkelling gear for our guests.

With a stunning long golden sand beach, majestic sunsets and lush tropical gardens, First Landing provides an absolutely superb backdrop for your wedding. First Landing is an authentic Fijian style property that offers a range of affordable wedding packages and accommodation options.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Review:   Over priced and underwhelming. Another reason I'd rarely recommend Fiji as a holiday destination. Air fares might be reasonable, but accommodation and food and activity prices are generally absurd. This place is no exception sadly. Our stop was brief, but the food and gift shop were lacklustre. Went next door to the Boat Shed instead. Much better value :)

Review:   Friendly staff, calm and tidy. This resort is bit far, it is good only if you rented your own car..even for basic stuff you need to drive a long. Beach here is very normal, too muddy couldn’t enjoy a lot . Too many flies misquotes. Evening view is pleasant here.

Review:   The most disappointing resort I have experienced in a long time. The Windows did not close properly and anyone could easily open the door. The phone in the room was not working either. We complained to the duty manager and he was not helpful at all. He told us to wait for the window to get fixed knowing we were running late and had to be somewhere in time. This was a totally horrible experience! I would never recommend it to anyone. The price I had paid for this room could easily get me better resorts . My first and my last in this horrible resort!!!!!

Review:   I was not staying in the resort. I just dropped by for some drinks and saw the First Landing landmark of the first Fijian 1500 B.C . The beach is so clean and you can swim if you want. You can drop by the restaurant and take a rest, have some drinks and enjoy the sunset. The tropical atmosphere and the friendly attitude of staffs here were really beautiful and impressive to me. A lot of yatches anchor there also made up some nice sight.
