Wanaka Luxury Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
Every detail at Wanaka Springs Lodge has been thought through to meet the needs of discerning travelers to the Lake Wanaka region. We are delighted to offer eight beautifully appointed guest rooms, each with private ensuite bathroom and their own deck or courtyard with panoramic views.

Of the two room types offered, our King Rooms have either a king or a super-king / twin bed, and our Queen Rooms have a queen sized double bed. Beds are fitted with premium quality mattresses and pillows and are made up with soft cotton linens and New Zealand lamb's wool duvets. In each bedroom, guests will find bathrobes and slippers for complimentary use at the Spa Pool, alarm clocks, radios, luggage racks, TV, and recycled Rimu native timber furniture. The ensuite bathrooms are fitted with heating, extractor fans, heated towel rails, night lights, power showers, hair dryers, and are supplied with seascape spa toiletries and soft fluffy towels. n Bathrooms are fitted with heating and extractor fans, dkfldsfk

Each of our eight bedrooms is named after a regional landmark - Rob Roy, Coromandel, Buchanans, Glendhu, Fog Peak, Roaring Meg, Black Peak & Ruby Island, and has its own character. You will find the work of New Zealand artists and crafstpeople in the small details: in a cushion print, on the wall, in the quirky Kiwi books we have put at your disposal.

We hope the artifacts around the lodge - a personal mix of family heirlooms, vintage finds and contemporary works, will give you an interesting insight into New Zealand culture.

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My wife and I are here right now. Right from the entering the building the hosts were very hospitable. The room is warm in (July 2018) winter. There is two heaters in our room and we haven't used one. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The whole building is super clean and you can tell they care about this place. It's so clean I'm thinking of checking in arkward places just to find dust. The hot pool is great. The kitchen is immaculate. There is a good selection of tea for the tea drinkers. I think the hosts like honey. There is a greater selection to choose from than a supermarket! I'm looking forward to trying some. It's very quite here. The bed is not too hard but is slightly firm. Town is a 5 minute slow walk to restaurants and the lake. The host gave suggestions on where to eat out too. I'm really impressed with this place!

Review:   I've stayed here several times and I'm a travel agent and send lots of my clients here. I've never once gotten a hint of a negative experience from anyone and my clients run the gamut. All races, various ages and income levels. All have nothing but good to say about it. Nice clean rooms, walking distance to town, very nice breakfast, helpful hosts. It's clear that many posters on this board have never stayed here and are just piling on due to some perceived slight.

Review:   Overall, I had a great experience here. I stayed for 3 nights, and the hosts were very accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay, often made recommendations for experiences, and would call anytime I needed a restaurant reservation. In the mornings they would make breakfast B&B style, or you could enjoy a cold continental type breakfast (e.g.: cereals, fruits, yogurts). I'm not sure about all of the bad experiences posted here, but I witnessed the hosts interacting with a multitude of diversities, and all seemed to be friendly/positive interactions... Indian, Chinese, local, and American.
